Please note that once shipped, samples usually arrive at our lab within 2–5 business days and OralDNA Labs MUST receive your sample within 21 days from the date collected.

Yes! Samples are viable for 21 days from the date of collection and shipping on a Friday will have no impact on the sample viability.

As long as the provided DNA preservative has been added, samples may be stored and transported at room temperature. We have performed shipping and temperature stability studies for both extreme hot and cold that have shown no adverse effects.

Once shipped, samples typically arrive at our lab within 2-5 business days.

Please ensure the kit is activated prior to shipping your specimen and follow the directions for labeling your sample with the provided pre-printed name label. No additional documentation is required.

A pre-paid return shipping label is adhered to the back of your kit box. Please use this for the return shipping of your kit.

We do not recommend the use of mail dropboxes as samples can often be lost using this method. If you don't have access to a mailbox, please hand it to your local mail-person or drop it off at a local US postal office.
