With a career spanning decades, Dr. Farber combines advanced\r\nclinical expertise with a deep commitment to education, mentorship, and whole-body health.\r\nDr. Farber earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health\r\nScience Center at San Antonio in 1984. He completed his advanced specialty training in\r\nPeriodontics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1987, where he also\r\nserved as Class President. His dedication to lifelong learning is reflected in more than 2,500\r\nhours of continuing education and his New York State Certificate recognizing this achievement.\r\nHe is a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, a Certified Laser Instructor through the Institute\r\nof Advanced Laser Dentistry (IALD), and an ITI Fellow as of May 2024.\r\nA visionary connector of specialists, Dr. Farber has long believed that dentistry is at its best\r\nwhen clinicians learn from one another. In 2002, he founded an online peri-implant message\r\nboard that grew to more than 400 specialists and over 28,000 clinical discussions. This\r\ngroundbreaking collaboration ultimately led to the creation of the International Association of\r\nDental Specialists (iADS), where Dr. Farber now serves as Founder and President. Today, iADS\r\nprovides members with access to a robust, modern Specialists\u2019 Forum designed to foster\r\ninterdisciplinary dialogue, elevate patient care, and support professional growth worldwide.\r\nDr. Farber\u2019s leadership extends across numerous professional organizations. He has served as\r\nPresident of the Suffolk County Dental Society, the Northern Brookhaven Dental Group, and the\r\nNortheastern Society of Periodontists. He is a past Director of the Long Island Dental Forum,\r\ncurrently serves as Director of the Spear Study Club of Long Island, and has founded multiple\r\nstudy clubs and forums dedicated to clinical excellence and collaboration. He has also\r\ncontributed academically as a Guest Lecturer in Periodontics at Stony Brook University School\r\nof Dental Medicine.\r\nOutside of clinical practice and leadership, Dr. Farber is an avid photographer, wine enthusiast,\r\ncyclist, and pickleball player. He is passionate about mentoring young dentists and continually\r\nexpanding his knowledge of holistic and whole-body health.
