The Amazing COVID Comeback: Part 2

Last week in Part 1, I introduced you to my team’s success during the difficult year of 2020. I delved into some of our practices and now you must be wondering, how in the world do I start with all of this?!? I am so glad you asked! I would love to help you! Start by establishing your vision. Then, look at where you are, review the information that you have and evaluate the statistics. Next is reviewing and, when necessary, revamping your training. Ask yourself the following questions:

  1. What training has my team received?
  2. Is my team trained to a high level?
  3. How much training are we doing?
  4. How often are we training?
  5. How are we tracking our training?
  6. How is accountability kept?
  7. What keeps my team members doing their job at a high level?

Once your team has been well trained and you have a consistent and measurable accountability system in place to monitor goal progress, trust will come. With trust comes my favorite…EMPOWERMENT. This will come organically when you know (via SMART goals) that your team is trained to a high level and accountability standards are high. Empower your team to make decisions to positively impact the practice and the patients.

The key is CONSISTENT accountability to a high standard! When performance is measured, performance improves! Focus on constant and never-ending improvement. This is not just for the numbers; this is also for training and a multitude of other things. Every member of the practice from top to bottom should strive to be better and expand their knowledge in some way. You want your team to develop a growth mindset. This mindset is a game changer for both the practice and the teams within it. It creates an ownership mentality that promotes practice and personal success from many aspects.

From experiencing so much success in my own department as well as my entire practice, I became very passionate about wanting to share my knowledge and training with other dental professionals. I want to help other offices thrive, so I’ve started Uplevel Practice Solutions, designed to take your practice to the next level. If you want to make an amazing COVID comeback, we will help customize a plan for your growth! I would be happy to get you the information on how I track our office stats and a multitude of other amazing things. We are teaching you how you can put the information you have to good use! Thank you so much for taking the time to read my blog.
